Forefront SF Burners

The Forefront SF burner is a short-flame rugged industrial package burner for gas-firing applications.

The Forefront SF burner is a short-flame rugged industrial package burner for gas-firing applications. It is a fully modulating nozzle-mix burner with an integral fuel-air linkage (single-point positioning) that allows a single firing demand signal to control both fuel and air in the proper ratios.

The standard burner includes an all-steel burner housing, top mounted fan assembly with integral air damper, stainless steel burner throat, direct spark ignitor, combustion air switch, gas valve, and actuator.  A flame rod or a UV scanner can be used for flame detection. Various burner configurations and fuel option are available. SF burners can be adapted to different air/fuel control schemes, such as fixed air, single point positioning with cam valve, and parallel positioning

The burner is ideal for many industrial applications including:

  • Air heating in ovens, dryers and kiln
  • Process heating in small boilers and industrial furnace
  • Thermal oxidizers
  • Capacities from 500,000 to 4,400,000 BTU/Hr.
  •  Simple, Rugged, & Reliable
  •  Short Compact Flame Geometry
  •  Low Emissions (NOx, CO, VOC, & PM)
  •  20:1 Turndown Ratio
  •  Outdoor or Indoor Applications
  • User-Friendly Tuning
  • Quick Delivery

Every Forefront Burner comes complete and includes

  • motor and blower
  •  air damper, combustion air switch, gas valve, and actuator
  • all steel burner housing with lifting lugs
  • direct spark igniter
  • flame rod
  • sight glass
